Client Development Manager

Description:The market demand for high-touch HR services is on fire—and Xenium’s sales & marketing team is looking to add another high-performer to the team to meet this need. Xenium is an HR & Employer Services company located in Tualatin, OR. We support small- and medium-sized companies that have limited or no internal HR resources, as well as companies that have internal HR staff but need project or technical HR bandwidth. Services include HR compliance and best practice system development and implementation, HR consulting and management, supervisory training, and payroll and benefit programs and administration. Our team of professionals works diligently to continually develop well-intentioned employers through proactive HR programs.
Duties:As a Xenium Client Development Manager, you will work independently and with our team to:

• Bring successful experience selling professional services to small and medium size companies
• Develop and implement an individual strategic business development plan
• Manage the entire sales cycle process from prospecting to closing of new client relationships with small and medium size companies
• Cultivate a prospect pipeline through self-generated prospecting activities (networking, cold calling, etc.)
• Follow up on leads generated from marketing programs
• Manage individual sales forecast to exceed annual new business goal
• Utilize the CRM application to document all phases of the sales cycle to include suspect to proposal to win/loss analysis that drives the sales forecast and reporting
• Utilize the CRM application to document all pertinent client data and dynamics
• Provide expertise to uncover prospective client challenges and needs and present innovative solutions from the Xenium suite of services
• Work closely with Xenium’s Program Implementation Manager to ensure execution of programs are consistent with client expectations
• Bring discipline, organization, integrity, professionalism, entrepreneurial spirit, and a positive attitude to work each day
Qualifications:Friends and co-workers describe you as a highly organized and productive person: they have a hard time understanding how you get so much done in one day
• You’ve been described as a great listener with the ability to connect and gain trust from C-level executives
• You have B2B consultative sales experience, ideally in the insurance/professional services space
• You are a team player and an individual performer who can quickly connect with others inside and outside of the company
• You have a wide small business network and enjoy opening dialogue with business managers and owners
• You naturally possess a “can get it done” attitude even when the odds are not in your favor
• You are a self-starter and work productively with little or no instruction
• You are detail oriented and thrive working with complex issues and challenges, always taking a positive approach
• You are very organized and disciplined and can effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• You have excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, and teammates consider you a terrific communicator
• You have earned a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Communications or a related field and have at least 5 years of work experience in sales, client service or account management
